There’s cult status and then there’s occult status. For the past five years, nothing has drawn New York’s nocturnal creatives deeper into downtown’s darkness for nights of apocalyptic fun quite like the iconic GHE20G0TH1K parties.

You may catch designers like Alexander Wang, or queer rap don Mykki Blanco circulating the dance floor. Among the wardrobe references in the crowd lay motocross and traditional Indian embellishments which they match with Harajuku girl style. Their ensembles incorporate dog collars, track pants, streetwear brand-logo sweatshirts, crop tops, bindis, and racing jackets.

派对里你能看到像Alexander Wang这样的大牌设计师，也能看到变装怪癖的说唱大牌Mykki Blanco混迹在人群之中，大家的穿衣风格也是有元素风，有摩托党，也有新锐街头朋克派。他们将狗项圈，运动裤和大Logo的街装外套还有赛车夹克混搭一起组成自己独树一帜的风格做派。

That movement has extended from the dance floor into the runways as well: it has offered an opportune environment for Shayne Oliver, designer of cult label Hood by Air –a brand that’s integral and draws inspiration from the GHE20G0TH1K style.

Fast forward to 2015, Venus X has bought her GHE20G0TH1K vibes from New York’s underground to VICE parties in Europe, fashion weeks in Berlin & Paris with Rihanna supposedly stealing her aesthetic to URL influenced fashionistas taking the style all across the globe.

回到2015年，Venus X也是将她的GHE20G0TH1K 风格从纽约地下玩到VICE在欧洲的大型派对，从柏林和巴黎时装周与Rihanna的同台演出到将她的GHE20G0TH1K风格传遍全球。这回Venus X 来到了上海！
